Dear customers,

As the end of the calendar year approaches, we would like to inform you in advance about the operation of GLS Slovakia during the Christmas holidays and the end of the year 2025.

The shipment volumes in the last pre-Christmas week significantly exceed the standard parcel volume. Therefore, during this period, operational and system measures are applied to parcel delivery to ensure that all Christmas parcels are delivered no later than December 23, 2025.

We would therefore like to kindly ask you to hand over all your domestic parcels for shipment by December 19, 2025, as this date is also the last day for parcel posting with guaranteed delivery within Slovakia before Christmas.

For export parcels, this date is shifted according to the standard transit times between individual countries.

Summary:

• 19.12.2025 – last day to post parcels with guaranteed delivery before Christmas
• 22.12.2025 – parcel pickup and delivery will operate in standard mode
• 23.12.2025 – parcel pickup and delivery will operate in standard mode
• 24.12.2025 – 26.12.2025 – no parcel pickup or delivery
• 29.12.2025 – parcel pickup and delivery will operate in standard mode
• 30.12.2025 – parcel pickup and delivery will operate in standard mode
• 31.12.2025 – no parcel pickup or delivery
• 1.1.2026 – no parcel pickup or delivery
• 2.1.2026 – parcel pickup and delivery will operate in standard mode
• 5.1.2026 – parcel pickup and delivery will operate in standard mode
• 6.1.2026 – no parcel pickup or delivery

Parcels posted for shipment on 23.12.2025 will be delivered from 29.12.2025 onward.
