Sustainability

The Role of ESG in Our Operations

GLS* is committed to responsible growth, guided by Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles. These principles drive our efforts to reduce our environmental impact , support our workforce and communities and uphold transparency and ethical governance across our entire supply chain. We focus on the reduction of carbon emissions, creating an inclusive workplace and supporting local initiatives.

We deliver what matters.

At GLS, we don't just deliver from A to B - we deliver from person to person. When we look at the boxes, we don't just see parcels - we see the people behind them.

These parcels contain the hopes, dreams and goals of our customers. There are stories in these boxes. Stories about things people care about. And since these things are important to our customers, they are also important to us.

We deliver what matters.

Our ESG efforts

Our commitment to sustainability is guided by three core priorities:

GLS e-van in the city

Every day, GLS transports millions of parcels, and we recognise the impact of our logistics and transport processes on natural resources and emissions. That‘s why climate and environmental protection are integral to our sustainability efforts.

GLS Group is committed to contributing to the realisation of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Among these, five goals are particularly relevant to our business activities and have been placed at the centre of our ESG efforts.
