Fake emails and texts misusing GLS logo and name, happens frequently. On this page, you can see some of the newest examples, that we have been made aware of. They can give you an idea on what a phishing attempt looks like.
The most recent example of phishing attempts via SMS
How to identify that this example is a phishing attempt:
- Missing ø and å in the SMS.
- Suspicious parcel number - Your parcel number will always consist numbers and will always be exactly 12 digits.
- Suspicous link on the website - When visiting a real GLS-site, the links will always contain gls.dk, gls-group.eu/DK/ or link.gls.dk.
- They charge money - We never askf or your payment information on other pages than send.gls.dk and in our app. If you find yourself on a site, that asks for your payment information, please be attentive to a possible phishing attempt.
